Abstract: Antisocial Media: Anxious Labor in the Digital Economy. He conducts textual analysis of scholarly and popular texts about “playbor”(i.e., the collapsing boundaries between work and play), automation, and the sharing economy through a “symptomatic reading.”In other words, the texts examined in the book can be understood “as a window into a particular way of seeing in the world and, ultimately, of intervening in it”(p. 12).
